Outerscore is a vendor management system focused on SOW-based jobs, projects and professional services. ‘Traditional’ systems are rooted in the management of contingent labor (staffing suppliers and agencies); newer solutions focus on independent and freelance. However 70-80% of the service spend (in value) in enterprises are typically larger SOW-based (professional) services and projects. Hence, our focus is on these complex services using category specific templates – but serving less complex categories as well.
Outerscore follows a three-tiered approach: compliance management (intergation of customizable check questionnaires and approval workflows), spend managment (rate card and cost benchmarking) and a sophisticated performance management.

Ensuring versatile, seamless integration with major enterprise systems is a core element of our software architecture. We are currently working on standard connectors to SAP, Ariba, Oracle and major BI tools like IBM Cognos, Coupa and Kronos.
The generated and uploaded data fully remains in your hands. You have full data access via an API to export it to your reporting systems. Additionally, there are several manual export functionalities (e.g. xls file export for rate card comparison or performance evaluation results) integrated in the workflow.
Our server infrastructure (using a large, established third party provider) is based in Germany. We are currently preparing for a certification according tot he highest security and audit standards on the market (ISO 27001, SSAE 16). In case of any specific concerns please contact us directly.
Yes, there are several analytics tools, dashboards and filter/search functionalities included. Additionally, the data can be exported to your BI software. Standard connectors for automatic exchange are currently under development. For some data like rate card comparisons or performance evaluation results we offer CVS file export (download).
Guided workflows, decision wizards and branching logics as well as template libraries (e.g. for job descriptions and SOWs) which can be customized according to your needs are a core design element of Outerscore.
Yes, it is very easy to add new / additional data entry fields. Our philosophy is to build the best tool to support and automate your processes rather than adapting them.
To avoid duplication of registration efforts and additional costs Outerscore was designed with a very simple registration process for suppliers. Supplier master data will be automatically added out of client systems and can be updated / edited by the vendor if needed. The minimum requirement for vendors is just a contact name, the company and email address and a secure password.
Yes, Outerscore supports a preferred supplier concept with different tier levels and manual/automatic requests to a list of suppliers. Blacklisting / deactivation is also supported by the tool
Yes, Outerscore is multilanguage enabled, which means that the user interface (UI) can be displayed in different languages. So far, an English version is available off-the shelf. Other languages will be added according to your requirements.
